An anonymous nomination, a national award shortlist
We’re happy to announce that Gloucestershire Pension Fund has been shortlisted as a finalist for LGPS Fund or Pool of the Year at the inaugural Institutional Capital Awards 2026.
Organised by Asset Owner Network, the new awards celebrate excellence across institutional investment, recognising asset owners responsible for long-term capital stewardship, alongside the organisations that support them.
It’s especially rewarding to have been recognised and nominated anonymously by someone from within the industry, particularly given the calibre of the other finalists - making our place on the shortlist an especially welcome recognition.
Gloucestershire Pension Fund has been shortlisted in the only category specifically recognising LGPS funds and pools, placing us alongside some of the leading organisations across the Local Government Pension Scheme.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Thursday 26 November 2026.
